  Freebord Ride Explained

  I’ve done snowboarding and skiing, but I’m not sure about this! I don’t think I could pull up as quickly on a tarmac surface as I could on snow.

  Also, on ski slopes, you don’t tend to get too many vans and lorries pulling out suddenly into your path. Also, I’ve never come across a traffic light on a ski slope, although there have been one or two occasions where I’ve thought that they would be a GREAT addition!

  - This is from poet Mic Wright’s blog (well worth a read here). I think perhaps this shows the inevitability with which people become disillusioned with politics over time. If the Conservatives do achieve a working majority in the election, there may well be a new generation of 13 year-olds opening their laptops to be consumed with the same hope for the future that Mic had in 1997. I certainly hope so, or we might as well not bother with politics at all.

But recently I tried to get a photo from a website onto my Tumblr page using the bookmarklet, but it couldn’t pick up the photo properly. When I tried using the Posterous bookmarklet, it worked perfectly…
